THE BOOK THAT MADE ME QUESTION EVERYTHING
The Children's Encyclopedia was first published in in 1908, and reprinted regularly until the 1960s. The edition I had dated from the 1950s and it was lent to me by my librarian. It was split into ten volumes and covered just about every subject under the sun. I adored dipping into these books and reading some fascinating little snippet that had me scurrying to my parents to demand more information, or to question something they had previously told me.
