September #Bookadayuk - Day 17

The Woman Who Died a Lot - Jasper Fforde Deadlock - Sara Paretsky

FAVOURITE LITERARY DETECTIVE

I'm going to cheat a little bit here and split this one into two categories. Those being 'real world' and 'alternative world'.

So for 'alternative world' as if you hadn't already guessed it has to be Thursday Next. She's literally a literary detective.

Hmm, I do seem to talk about these rather a lot don't I? Honourable mentions in this category go to Harry Dresden and Louie Knight.

But if I was choosing a detective who operates in the real world, then V I Warshawski is top of the heap. She's smart and sassy with a social conscience, and when she's not doing her detective thing, she's drinking alcohol and watching sports. My kinda gal.
