FAVOURITE BOOK SET IN A SCHOOL
I decided against choosing my childhood favourites which I mentioned in August's challenge, and decided to pick two books I read as an adult.
Goodbye Mr Chips and To Serve Them All My Days are both set in English schools with teachers as the main protagonists. They see major social upheaval and war. They find love and suffer loss. Delderfield's novel is less sentimental and more political, but both are great reads.
