MOST MEMORABLE PLOT TWIST
Sarah Waters is such a good writer, and Fingersmith has all the ingredients I love in a book. Gothic Victoriana, mystery, multiple narrators (mainly unreliable) and a cracking twisty-turny plot. Even though I’d read Wilkie Collins’ The Woman in White, I still didn’t manage to predict all the plot twists in this book.
But I was very tempted to go with The Very Hungry Caterpillar again.
