For the first couple of books in this series I seriously wanted to give Toby a damn good shaking. She was crap at her job but refused to accept any help and because of this she kept putting everyone who loved her in danger.
Then she started to grow up and realize she couldn't do everything on her own, and that's when I really started to enjoy this series. I love her circle of friends. Quentin and Raj might be fae, but they are typical teenagers as well, and Raj gets bonus points for being an Abyssinian cat. And talking about cats, who could not help but fall in love with Tybalt the King of Cats?
I think the Incryptids are still my favourites (Hail! Cake and Cheese for All!), but Toby and her friends are catching up fast.
