Finished it!
I was on a bit of a deadline with this one. It's a hardback from the library and was due back next week, but I'm going on vacation on Saturday and because there's a waiting list, I wasn't able to extend the loan. And I'm such a nice person, I didn't want to take the book with me and deprive the next person in line of their reading pleasure. (And I'm too cheap to pay the fine).
Which meant I had to race through it to get finished and return it tonight because we've got a snow storm on the way and I didn't fancy struggling through the snow tomorrow.
At first I thought I wasn't going to finish, because the story starts quite slowly with plenty of scene setting and putting all the protagonists in place. And then, BOOM! the action ramped up and I galloped through it. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough.
Don't really want to say much more because spoilers, but it was a great conclusion to a very entertain series.
