Reading progress update: I've read 15%.

"the swift weary moorland marches from one or other of the little grey clothing towns where it seemed that there was always a wind blowing;"
It's going to take me ages to read this. Not because it's hard work, but because it's set in the towns and villages of my childhood, and I keep having to go to the Internet and check things out because I've learned something new and want to read more about it.
And I grew up in one of those 'little grey clothing towns' and I don't think much has changed in 350 years.
