Reading progress update: I've read 25%.

Rebecca's Tale - Sally Beauman

Meh. I wish she'd written this as a straightforward suspense novel. The narrators are unreliable (which I always enjoy) and it's nicely atmospheric, but it just feels as if she's shoehorning as many 'Rebecca' references in as she can, which is making it a bit clunky. 

 

Also, thanks to Jasper Fforde, I can't take Mrs Danvers seriously any more.
