Dandelion Wine - Ray Bradbury

I don't know how Bradbury does it. His writing is so beautifully lyrical and descriptive. Nostalgic and sentimental without being cloying. But also humorous and at times unsettling, giving hints of the more scary work that would come later.

It made me yearn for those endless summers of childhood. Although come to think of it, I grew up in England and my summers were more like endless drizzly days punctuated with the occasional downpour.
