The standout book for me in June was Skin Game.  I love the Dresden universe, and Butcher's writing and characterization just keeps on getting better. And please Jim, can we have another appearance from Hades?

Sadly I was a little bit disappointed with Dreams of Gods and Monsters. I thought the first two books in the trilogy were excellent and was eager to see how Taylor was going to wrap the series up. But somehow it didn't quite work for me. (Looking at the reviews on Amazon and GoodReads, it appears I'm in the minority here. Ah well, 'twas ever thus).
